What if love was no longer a right?
I loved this book!!
An absolutely brilliant book from start to finish! The author managed to immerse us directly in this universe where the Sun can either be extremely hot and never set, or give way to a constant night on Pangea. The characters are all more interesting than each other, and we have the chance to really discover them all thanks to the external point of view which allows us to understand each of them.
I got very attached to the character of Nina who at the beginning seemed to be a fragile young girl, the victim of a coup d'etat and many inequalities, but her character managed to surprise me throughout the book.
Each scene was written and explained in a way that I couldn't describe, it was so fluid and pleasant to read!
The author has really succeeded in making it so that we can visualize each of the scenes and identify the characters very easily.
Moreover, with the inequalities, the coup d'etat, and the vices of certain characters to destroy the lives of others, the reading was filled with twists and a whole lot of emotions! Injustices, passion, love, betrayals, this book is a pure masterpiece and I highly recommend it! I devoured this first book and can't wait to start reading.
of Volume II.

A dystopia that makes you dream!
Having already read the first two volumes of this saga, all that comes to mind is... INCREDIBLE.
Both the characters and the plot, this saga made me dream, I couldn't put the book down and my nights became short (but it was worth it).
Characters who make you laugh as much as cry and with whom life is never boring.
A thrilling love story and gut-wrenching plot, everything a good book should be, you'll find it in Soleil Blanc.
Lise Muscat Verceil takes us into a world we never want to leave, I can't wait to read the rest of her book.
I recommend 100%.

An excellent surprise!
This book was a huge surprise to me. When I started it, I didn't expect such a complex and original story.
I was completely embarked in a new world where, after a great climatic upheaval, a majority of humanity was exterminated.
Men were left to their own devices, and to survive, established a dictatorial society called Pangea at the pole of the planet. We find characters all more complete and complex than each other as well as strong relationships.
I particularly liked the character of Nina who touched me deeply, as well as that of Aidan, a dark and torn man who fights in each chapter in order to fight against his feelings.
I can't wait to find out how their story will develop in the second volume, after the last pages of the first novel leave us wanting more. It is impossible to finish the first volume without having the second on hand.
I put 5 stars to this first book of this duology and hasten to start the second book.

About Lise Muscat Verceil
Admiring one of the fabulous sunsets of our beautiful region, I wondered what kind of life would be ours if we were deprived of it.
It was at this moment that SOLEIL BLANC was born in my mind.
This novel wrote itself, in a little over eight months, as if it were engraved in my head and that it had been enough for my fingers to follow the thread of my imagination.
This moment of writing was pure happiness that brought me intense joy.
My characters have become my friends and my story has invaded me to completely absorb me.
