After a great climatic upheaval which exterminated part of humanity, the survivors took refuge at the poles, the only viable places in the world.
The sun, which has burned all the land in the center of the planet, is either omnipresent in the sky and deadly at certain times of the day, or invisible, delivering men to absolute darkness. The survivors of this exodus have built a new world in which they have not all arrived: Pangea. This land hides behind a solid border on which they have erected a wall, prohibiting its access to all who are outside.
Aidan returns from this frontier he defended for five years to find that life has changed while he was gone and those he left behind have grown. He will have to struggle to resist the attraction he feels for Nina, with whom he was raised but who is in love with his younger brother Nathan.
However, the latter is in danger, victim of old grudges and the oppression of an unequal society.
It is together, and by trying to resist everything that irresistibly brings them together, that they will have to try to save Nathan.
Braving a pitiless and unjust world, they will fight for battles that are beyond them but that will take them to the end of themselves...
